Blocking is off after an iOS update
Sometimes an iOS update resets the Screen Time permission. When that happens the app shows this warning on Home:
To switch it back on:
- Open ExamMode.
- On Home, tap Fix on the warning.
- When iOS asks for Screen Time access, tap Continue, then Allow.
- If the prompt doesn’t appear, open your iPhone’s Settings, go to Screen Time, find ExamMode under the apps with Screen Time access and allow it. confirm: exact Settings path on a device
Your courses, questions and time bank are untouched. Blocking resumes on your usual schedule as soon as access is back.
Quick answers
How do I give ExamMode Screen Time access?
The app asks during setup. When iOS shows the Screen Time prompt, tap Continue, then Allow. If you said no at the time, open ExamMode, go to Settings and tap Turn on blocking to see the prompt again.
Where do my minutes go overnight?
Your time bank resets at 4:00 each morning so every day starts fresh, and it holds at most 60 minutes. Minutes you earn in Deep Focus sessions count too.
I answered right but didn’t earn minutes
Each right multiple-choice answer adds 2 minutes, up to the 60-minute cap. If your bank is already full, the answer still counts toward your mastery and your streak.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions or go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge.
How do I get ExamMode Pro back on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account, then tap Restore purchases in Settings inside the app. Your courses, questions and streak sync with your account.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete account. This removes your course material, questions and study history from our servers. Cancel your subscription separately in your Apple ID settings, or it keeps renewing.
